She led the development of the first lifestyle medicine core competencies for physicians and health professionals. She serves as the lead faculty for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) Physician and Health Professional Well-being Program, chair of the Happiness Science and Positive Health Committee of the ACLM, and vice-chair of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Dr. Lianov has also previously held the positions of president of the ACLM, president of the Positive Health and Wellbeing Division of the International Positive Psychology Association, director for the Healthy Lifestyles Division of the American Medical Association, board regent for American College of Preventive Medicine, and public health medical officer at the California Department of Health Care Services.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, Dr. Lianov has spearheaded the movement to integrate positive psychology into health care. Key accomplishments include convener of the inaugural Summit on Happiness Science in Health Care with ACLM and Dell Medical School, editor and coauthor of Roots of Positive Change, Optimizing Health Care with Positive Psychology, author of Strengths in the Mirror, Thriving Now and Tomorrow, and founder and president of the nonprofit organization, the Global Positive Health Institute \u2013 GPHI (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.positivehealth.world\">https:\/\/www.positivehealth.world<\/a>).
